Hi everyone.

It's been a while since I've written. Life with a young kid and a real job gets busy, and it's not slowing down.

I had some high hopes for this newsletter. I went slowly but even that pace was overwhelming. Part of me thought that if I ever got laid off from my job, I could build it into something that would occupy my time and maybe grow into something that pays bills. Maybe with 100 percent of my attention, it could have become that. But in reality, the annual expenses for the services that keep this thing running are coming due for another year, and I can't justify spending $2,000 to keep a dormant website, e-mail and automation system alive, only to not send another e-mail for weeks, months or another year.

So I'll say goodbye for now. I have some other ideas that I may try out from another platform down the line, so maybe you'll hear from me in the distant future. Thanks for reading — unbelievably only four people ever unsubscribed out of over 4,000 e-mails sent.

The e-mail address this is coming from will go dark on August 6, 2026. If you're reading this after then and would like to get in touch, you can find me at jeffscoffeeindex@gmail.com.
